Lifts for 08 4 Runner

Anyone know of a good lift to put on an 08 4 Runner sport. I found a few I like but there is something about the suspention that wont allow me to put one on? Advice would be appreciated.

since u have xreas, spacers will work fine. of course if u want, u can remove xreas & install new coils & shocks.

It really boils down to how much time and money you have - and if you have the rear air suspension.

With RAS, you're stuck with only working the front and the best you're going to get is a spacer which will help level out the 1.5" rake.

W/o that, you

1. Start with spacers.
2. Upgrade the springs (e.g. FJ Cruiser)
3. Change out the shocks & springs
4. Go with a body kit for additional height, but not ground clearance.

All that's stated is something about the suspension won't let him put one on. I think that may be an incorrect reference to XREAS. I'm almost positive that the RAS was only an option on the Limited trim model. Many think you can't lift one with XREAS, so that's my thought. That's all I'll say, can't make a suggestion without more info.

As said above with XREAS you have to keep all the shocks in place to maintain the XREAS system, so only spacer will work with it pretty much. You can swap the coils for heavier duty coils, but for the most part the end result was not that satisfactory for most people.

What will help is if the OP posts what the objective of the suspension change is.
There are many options:
From a simple swap to maintain stock height and characteristics,
to just some ride height lift for aesthetics (spacers)
change in ride characteristics
to higher end offerings like we at Overland Warehouse
to long travel & custom almost competition like offerings
