lifts whered you buy/get?

i have been waiting for several months for my income tax check to come...and i had my mind and budget set on an old man emu 3 inch lift kit from toytec, i had it all ready to go just waiting on that check, so i look today and the raised the price a little more so instead of being $882 even now it is about 1k....witch makes me wanna lean twords the toytec ultima kit.....then i started to wonder what everybody else has....

so my question is what are you running for a lift kit? where did you buy it from? how much was it?

lol i know....i dont do anything to serious but i plan on getting a winch....its more of a daily driver/work truck....

Yeah! The price hike was a bummer. Now I'm considering the ultimate myself, but can't justify spending that much.

I love mine, in my signature. Daily driver and off road at least once a month. Complete lift!

I got the Toytec BOSS kit with 550 springs up front, 890's in the rear w/ Bilstein 5125's.

In my honest opinion, if you dont wheel much just get a budget lift. Aka spacers, biltiens. OME is a great all around suspension for expedition style offroading. Ome dampens really well. If you wheel a little and want the looks then get some coilovers like the toytec kit.

I personally have the King adjustible coil overs with total chaos upper control arms. Cost $3600.00 a bit expreme but well worth it. I can go really fast in all types of terrain

Boils down to budget & what tupe of wheelin. Good luck!

Been waiting two months for my income tax check as well. I'm going a different route with the lift to go higher. As soon as that happens, I will be selling my OME kit...

Consider buying some used springs, get new(er) shocks, and maybe an LSD for the rear diff. That will at least help with the 2wd aspect...

I have toytec ultimate with super flex coils. Love the ride and lift. Lots of body roll though without sway bar. Spent around $1100

i would get a locker before a winch... it would be a lot more fun to drive through a trail than to winch through a trail.

automatic lockers are getting cheaper. look on rockauto.

you can get 99 coils for a 1" lift and maybe 1" spacers and still be in your budget after the locker. that way you can actually get some wheeling done.

my set up is listed in my sig. i pulled the 3" coils off and put the tundra trd ones on so i can sell it. i like the toytec 3" coils so i'm putting those on my new truck when the time comes.
