Partly I also like the sleekness of my truck. I use it as a daily. Here's the current. I'm adding white knuckle sliders and a 32" light bar in the lower bumper. Plus new wheels.

I'm doing the lower grill. I did think of the upper grill though. This is what I'm doing.

Plus the new wheels.

Love the methods..also for sleekness what about a nice slim 6 inch in the hood scoop? I have seen that on one other 4runner and if I had the Sport I would totally rock that.

Also note I do appreciate the subtleness of your vehicle. Sometimes I question my front bumper.

Only if you do red...other than that I think would be a great mounting location and not obstruct or get in the way of anything. But yes when you turn it on you would have to play the soundtrack from the show(obviously).

I am debating on the raptor orange led for the grill. I forgot how cheap this truck is to mod. I have a BMW that I put my focus on. Crazy the difference in pricing.

Great looking m3 coupe. So much want. As for raptor orange, I actually bought a lightbar that accepts rigid covers, so my light is white, but the covers make it orange(less reflection off snow and rain). Another option as well

Nice 4R. I have few questions regarding lights. I noticed you have yellow fog lights..do you use them while headlights are on (i.e. yellow fogs with stock/led white headlights) ? I'm not sure if your fog lights are actual yellow fog lights or you applied a thick 3M layer of yellow over the lenses.


I'd need to do research on such legality in regard to lights here in VA but I'm interested in upgrading my headlights/fog lights. I'm trying to find a perfect combo that mimics earlier 4th gen. DRL's where it's bright orange during daytime without headlights on...at the moment my DRL's are not as visible as I would like it to be since mine's a '07 Sport.


Currently my mod list includes the following:

-Rigid Industries' mounting bracket / SR 10" Driving Beam for the hood scoop: $315 total

*POSSIBLE MODS PENDING PRICES*
-Convert stock headlights into LED
-Somehow modify DRL's where it can be even more bright orange (would need to see if this is at all possible)
-Replace stock fog lights with yellow-themed fog lights

Mines estoril. Phoenix is definitely a love it or hate it color.

That was my thinking regarding DYI with yellow film if I had taped over the stock fog lights in case it looked cheap. What brand did you get for the fog lights? I want to say PIAA but I highly doubt that is what you have. Let me know - thanks for helping me out!

If I recall I got them off of eBay. They're like four years old and holding up just fine. The film lasted a year if that. Plus it was a crappy yellow. I like this yellow much better.
