Light Bars?

Is it weird I also like the bright obnoxious snot green color they made M3's in? Between that color and your blue, are some of my favorites on that vehicle.

I legitimately think I saw an older silver M3 with bright green in the shape of halos (or whatever it's called) when I was on 95. It was on the other side of the interstate in standstill traffic and when I drove by the BMW, it instantly stood out because of its green-themed halo headlights haha.

It's definitely a love or hate thing with colors like that.

Thank you. Yes. They are yellow fog lights. Not the film. I did have the fun prior. Looked cheap. I use them all the time with the headlights. Although I'm changing them to led bulbs. Plus I'm changing the headlights. I love the look of them.

I originally started with a couple of those dual row Ridged style / Toton bars but found myself wanting more, and a better beam pattern.
Old Setup - rush job for a trip that I went on.

A friend hooked me up with some single row 10 watt Cree XML emitters.

There are times its almost like too much light... I could do away with the one one the roof to be honest. Bumper mounted has the best viewing experience.

I need to move the top bar back 6-8 inches experience to eliminate any hood glare. Doesn't look as good, but works a lot better.

That said, dune running at night is still scary as hell.

Lighting with a moving pattern like the one seen on video is illegal in VA because it can be a distraction for other drivers. That's like having a pair of blue/red lights turned on even though you're not a police officer.

Unless you're at some parade where you're driving at a set slow speed showing off your ride, it's definitely not legal for regular use.

As for the HID example you mentioned - officers can ticket you for issues like that at their discretion anyway

Have you ever noticed the new mustangs with their fancy rear tail light / turn signals? When I first saw one in VA, I honestly thought it was a mod and the driver would be ticketed for sure until I realized it was actually a stock feature after seeing other 'tangs. I don't know how Ford got past DoT requirements in regard to their turn signal that included a moving pattern too but kudos to them LOL. Looks pretty neat too

It's rearward facing. Also it's not stock I believe it's 800-1000 option.

I keep a screw driver in the glove box... and I remove the plate when I go off-road.

I know... sucks... but its just one less thing to get hassled about and only takes a couple min at best.

I'm still waiting to get a ticket for my roof mounted light bar because I don't cover that either, but no one seems to run them covered either.

I guess it just depends if a cop feels like hassling you that day.

No idea, but with the plate on, it just looks like two separate fog lights.

To be honest I don't think you even need to cover lights installed at grill height.

I don't know if it's legal in CA. The truth is, I've never driven it with them turned on.

I always liked the sequential turn signals on the old Cougars!
