i was wondering if there was a light around the cigrett lighter
for a 96 4runner?

ok its not that hard... for those who have a 96 4runner and later do this right now!

1. go out to your suv

2. turn on th lights

3. look at the cig lighter

4. and then tell me if it lights up?

cuz i dont remember if there was a light around it and would like to replace all the lights in the dash?

Mine use to have a light, but I tried to change it, and busted it. So there's no light now =(

yea just wondering, how did u change your light around ur ignition? i tried to find a post about it but all of them were either broken links or the pictures didnt show up

the ignition is easy!

1 remove the 4 screws that hold the plastic pice under the steering wheel

but dont forget to remove the 4 other screws that hold in the hood opener and the gas door

2 look up under the ignition and u will see the bulb.. just pull the bulb out and replace it with the color you want and then put the gas/hood openers back on

screw on the 4 screws and then reinstall the plastic pice under the steering wheel and screw in the last 4 screws

and i think that is it... ill put some pictures up if u want me 2
