I'm running Camburgs with the ball joints as well as a few there people i know they've been great! Seeing that your in the exact same areas that i'm in i don't know if you would want to run something with a uni ball in it with the winters we have and all the salt etc That's why i opted for the Camburgs with the BJ

Yeah, I don't know why he's downplaying such a major flaw in a suspension component. Imagine if this had not been caught in time and the owner hit a pothole on the freeway.

I'm downplaying this particular case because nothing epic or even catastrophic happened. Luckily, the OP caught it before something like that did happen.

However, I won't downplay the fact that there is indeed a high failure rate with these UCA's.

No adjustments, but there is additional castor is built into them according to Camburg.

Yeah, that's what they claim. I do think Camburg designed them for additional caster but if the jig or another part of the manufacturing process is off just a little, that could be why others and myself see low caster angles with these UCA's.

Hard to say. The alignment shop I went to said they could only get me into spec because my cams were maxed out. I plan on taking it to a "not so automatic" shop for my next alignment now that my springs have settled to see if they can get my castor better.

I live in the city but i'm from up north the capitol area. I'm always driving thru there on i95 and the Hutch to the Merrit pkwy heading to Massachusets and Connecticut.

For what it's worth, I just got ICON UCAs through Chas [MENTION=120150]TotalAutomotiveLV[/MENTION] for what I would consider a steal. Cheaper than most sites are selling cheaper brands at, and shipping was included... For whatever reason ICON prices the 3rd gen UCAs higher than the 4th gen UCAs, so I can only imagine how cheap he could get them to you for.
