Light tinted weathertech deflectors?

Mass 4runner

New member
Anyone have any pics of their 4Runner with the light tinted weathertech deflectors? I had the dark tinted ones on my 2010, liked the functionality but not the loss of visibility around the A pillar. I'm just concerned that the light tint might look mismatched with the dark tint rear glass.

Got the weathertech ones on both of my trucks and for the same reasons you list I have the light ones. I can get some pictures but it will be hard to get a true idea of how they look. They don't interfere around the A pillar at all. In fact I don't even see them anymore after using them for 15 years. I can try and shoot a picture tomorrow though. the lighter one up against my rear doors OEM tint they look as dark as the windows behind them.

Good to hear about the rear ones. I would love to see a pic if you get a chance!

i had the light tinted ones on my tundra, and can't really tell the difference between the dark ones I have now on the 4runner.

I have no interest in tinting any of my windows beyond what came OEM. The light tint choice was to closely match the un-tinted front windows when viewed from outside. The light tint choice will match what ever tint you have when viewed from the outside.

Sorry for the slight hijacking of this thread but what exactly do these Deflectors do?

Thanks in advance.

They allow you to partially open your windows during inclement weather. Very functional and worth it if you live somewhere where it rains a lot. Also keeps wind noise down a good bit on a partially open window.
