So I know a lot of newer vehicles are using Light Tubes to light up thinks like DRLs and tail lamp sections. Essentially my understanding is that its like a jumbo fiber optic cable with an LED at one end?
I am just curious if you need to use a special plastic and also if you were to cut it and make it opaque (i.e. cutting clear plastic and not polishing the cut/depression so its cloudy) will provide a sort of colored area? Like say a logo or design?
