Lighted Door Sills?

Hi Everyone, my neighbor just bought a 07 RX350 and she tool us for a test drive and I opened the door I saw a really nice feature I was hoping would be available as a mod for my 06 SE 4runner (maybe say 4runner or even toyota). It had lighted door sills and it looked pretty sweet. Any one out there seen an aftermarket mod for this or maybe they did it themselves? Here is a pic off the web for reference.....

I've seen something like that with lights on eBay for the 5th gen Camry. I haven't seen anything like it for the 4Runner yet.

It's a nice touch that Lexus has the lit door sills. I think there's a model or two that still don't have it. IIRC, RX, IS, new LS and SC has it.

Ahhhhh man! That's really sweet! The color, letter styling and all. I'd love to see these for the 4 Runner on the aftermarket. It would probably be easy to do as one would only have to tap into the wire that operates the lower door panel light on our 4 Runners.

I'm sure some techie youngster will grasp this idea and sell it over the internet for other makes and models.

ya, it would be sweeeeet if we can get someone to design one, with all the talent on this site I hope we can get someone to take on the task. Do you guys like the blue-ish color or the yellow-ish colored ones? I like the yellow-ish color. The armada ones on burtmans site look to be blue. The lexus ones my neighbor has is almost a hiper white....
