lighter not working?

So my lighter has lost power and I can't find a blown fuse. Anyone know:
1. which fuse it would be, and
2. if it's not the fuse, what can I do to see what the problem might be (besides going to the dealer)?

I have a '97 SR5, and I've tried the power with 3 different phone/accessory chargers, none of them get power.

multi meter is an instrument that measures voltage, amperage, resistance, etc. You can pick one up at any electronics store like Radio Shack as low as $8. It has two probes, red and black. It comes with instructions on using it.

Since you tried to plug in other accesories without sucess, I recommend checking the continuity on your fuse with the meter. Sometimes, your eyes can not detect a blown fuse. If you have difficulty locating the fuse, let me know.

which fuse is it? if i know that, then i'll replace it.

There is a junction (fuse) box in the driver side. I believe the fuse you're looking for is 'ACC', 15A fuse. You can pull out a good 15A fuse from other slot and check. Also there maybe assortment of spare fuses in the box, my Honda did. This is the best I can do at the moment since my 4R is in storage.

The reasons for blown fuse are overload or short in the lighter socket.

Good luck
