I'm looking to purchase some lights for my arb bumper. Would like round lights so light bar is out. Anyone have any experience with the Lightforce 170s?

I have the big brother 240 Blitz from them with a 55W HID Conversion. No complaints at all, have some output pics in my build thread (sig).

Check out the MRT LED spotlights I posted a review on the other day. They're LED but have the old school round look.

I've got a trio of the Genesis 210s, haven't installed them yet, but the build quality is top notch, and output is really staggering, mine are 35w HIDs and with spot covers I've shined them over a half a mile. Add in the fact that you can snap on a new cover to change the color and beam pattern, and they really can't be beat imo.

Before LED's I used that light exclusively, even before HID conversions were affordable. In the old incandescent form they were well built dependable, yet somewhat anemic lights. When the HID's took over they became spectacular. I run two 240 Blitz HID up front in my LC. One caution is that with the spot lens they can really blind people in front of you, I rarely use mine because they are unnecessary for rock crawling, but in the desert they are awesome.

They make a quality product, I have never had issues with them. I still have one or two old school ones in the garage.

I run Striker 170 HID's (35W) on my 4Runner and love them. My LED bar (32" Morimoto via The Retrofit Source) covers the flood and a decent throw but compared to a spot lens on the Striker's, there is no comparison.

Just picked up some yellow flood filters - I've also purchased a bunch of Lamin-X locally and have applied it to the front of all of my filters. They're well made and a solid plastic for sure - hit a deer and while it destroyed the light, the lens was found in the ditch unscathed.

I had a hard time swallowing the initial cost but now that I have them, I lust for another set for my Fiesta ST.

Well here are the ones I was eyeing but they are not hid. Did you guys buy these and then covert to hid? The his are out of my price range...

I like the 240 size but feel it is too big for the front end of our rigs. Honestly would love a ~8" light. Seems like the Genesis 210 would suit me size wise but then the cost jumps up. Maybe I need to look at different brands. The lightforce lights attracted me because of the quality, weight and those front covers so I could have multiple lights in one ( beam and wide).
