I'm in the market for auxiliary lighting to go on my new cow-catcher (brush guard). I want 7-8" round stainless lights. I'm leaning towards the KC Rally 800 (approx $250, see attached link). They have 130w bulbs. I also need feedback on weather to get driving light or long range lens. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I'll post a pick of the brush guard and you will see that 8" light won't be a problem.

So I don't have much experience with the KC lights, I'm a huge fan of the PIAA lights. I currently have the 80 with the driving beam on my 4runner and it works great.

I don't see it listed under the current products, it seems to have been replaced by the 580, which I don't know a ton about.

Mine are black, but the website says that they have a chrome cover which is pretty much all anyone can see.

Regarding the width of the beam to get, like I said, I have the "Driving" version which is a 20

I have the PIAA 580s, which you've seen in person. I used to have Hella driving lights, but found them to be too bright to ever use in public. I went with the fog lights which I can still use when driving in town without annoying too many people, and that is with the lift too. Click on the links in my signature to remind yourself of what they look like.

I'll probably go with a driving light beam. The one for the KC lights gives a wide beam right in front of the vehicle and then extends a little further then the OEM high beam.
