Lights for my AUX lights.

Confusing title I know. I recently installed a set of hella 500ff's I got for christmas. Disappointed about the light output. I really wanted a set of KC's, but a present is just that and I am going to work with them. I read you can put 100W bulbs in them with upgraded wiring. So two questions...

What bulbs would you recommend and what guage wire would you recommend.

I went with the run of the mill 100w Sylvanias. As for wiring I just bumped up 1 size from what comes with the Hellas (cant remember the size though). I know of a few guys who have upgraded the bulbs while still running the supplied wiring without problems. This simple upgrade vastly increased the light output on my 500s.

I guess I'll have to check around the local stores. I didn't know if being higher wattage if I would have to order them

I found mine on the shelf at Advanced Auto Parts for around $7 a bulb.
