On September 11, 2001 there were 2,996 people killed by terrorist. Of those killed, 343 were firefighters and 50 were police officers. In honor of all of those killed but especially our brother fire and police officers who paid the ultimate price on this day, I

It's raining here in New York, so everyone is required to drive with their lights on anyway. I guess the impact will not be realized here....

I am on shift here in Florida today, and we have already had many visitors stop by the station to say thanks and show their gratitude. It's nice to feel appreciated, but it's sad that it takes a national tragedy to feel as though the country will stand together and respect those who are willing to risk their lives daily. Anyways, thank you to all Firefighters and Police officers on this site for your continued dedication to protecting life and property.
