Like the new look?

I've had the Sequoia/Tundra rims sitting for a while and finally got around to getting some new tires. After debating getting MTRs or STTs I realized they just aren't practical so I went with a tire I've been looking at for a while, the Goodyear Duratrac. I wanted to go with a 275/70/17, but they don't make that size in for the Duratrac so I had to go with 265/70/17.

Sweet rig! Two questions: did you end up using spacers and was the Tacoma skid plate bolt on or did you have to do some modification? Thanks!

Very nice, looks great. I have this rims sitting at home too and was gonna go with the same tires. Now I know what it will look like.

No, I didn't use spacers for these tires. They turn fine and look fine without spacers.

2000runr- It's a Tacoma skid plate. I think I bought it from Toyota Parts of Dallas. It definitely adds to the front end.

mustangaustin34- You don't have have to use a bracket for the earlier years. You do however if you have a "fat lip" bumper.

Rock Slide- Thanks man.

werez12- Thanks. They are nice tires. They seem to ride almost the same as my old tires, but I haven't put that many miles on them yet. I'm headed back up to college today so I'll get a solid 30 miles on the highway and let y'all know how they drive.

What yr Tacoma is it off of?

The 1st generation so '95-'04. I think it also came on some sport edition 4runners.

SilverBullet01- Your wheels aren't too shabby. :p What PSI are yours at?

(4)runnin'it- Thanks.

bootown- Lol. Gotta love people like that.

well im debating on just buying a set of new wheels here in a bit. i still need to repaint mine to get rid of all the imperfections. and the tires say run at 50 psi when cold, so on average if i go right to the gas station from my house i make sure its at about 45 at least. thats a total guess on my part of what it should be. what about yourself?

I just got them yesterday so I'm not sure what the guys at the shop aired them too. I think I saw on the sidewall that it had the max load at 50 psi. So I'm thinking maybe 40-45.

4runner52- Thanks. :)

Wow dude, looks awesome!

I've been wondering what my rig would look like with better tires, clear corners/turn signals, and the tacoma skid plate. Now I know, and I really like the look!

clemson, where did you order your clear corners from? catchng on that i love the look of that truck?

I got them from Ebay. They are fairly cheap, about $50 I think, and they make a big difference.

96743runner- Thanks!

JAC- Thanks. You've done some cool stuff to yours. :)
