So recently, I have laid off the mods for the most part... college is expensive! Hah but I have been busy with school, my frat (pike), the gym (bench jumped up to 275!), and soccer is about to start up. Anyways, back to business:
- I did end up fixing that weird electrical mess I had and it went back to a short in one of the shift circuits.
- I took off my hella 500's, really didn't use them and I thought that the way I had them mounted didn't really look good.
- Took off those corny audi look-a-like lights too... just started feeling a little too beaner.
- Put in a new set of HID's in my Micro DE's, one burnt out
- Just ordered new footwell lighting from oznium.
DRUMROLL FOR THE BEST PART OF THIS UPDATE:
I GOT HIT BY A DRUNK DRIVER!
Yeah it sucked, and luckily my car was parked the damage wasnt that bad, but I am going to get the entire rear end fixed with her insurance.
I have to say my VIPER 5900 was the best investment I have made in this truck. I was sitting in my friend's house and the Stage 2 sensor starts beeping and that is almost never a false alarm. I go outside to see a stupid 22 year old girl stumbling out of her infiniti going up her driveway to her house.
I ran up the street and confronted her as the alarm is going off and she doesn't even see that she had hit me. I tried getting her info but she wasnt cooperating so I called the police. Long story short, she got arrested for a DWI and I am getting everything fixed under her policy. I was happy I could catch her before she went in and then things would have gotten more complicated, but I was a little guilty seeing the police take her away in the back of the squad car. I guess that's what she deserved. On a side note, I didn't even catch her name that night and she had told the police that I was her friend and we came back from the bar together...
So I attached a few pics from the little incident because what is an update thread without photos! When I get my runner back from the body shop hopefully the weather will warm up so I can swap my rims back on too. ( I know I know, 22's aren't popular on here but I still love my truck! :] )
