Lime Rush TRD Pro

Now that you can get army green and lunar rock on an off road, just make your own PRO. Lime rush has to be the worst color ever on a 4runner.

Color-wise it reminds me of Peridot green that Porsche has used in the past. Naming-wise it sounds like a Mountain Dew flavor.

I see what there strategy is now that Pro colors end up on regular models.

Give the Pro a really odd color so it's not popular and they never do it again. Pro exclusive colors again.
 
I’m in the market for a new truck and had to pass on this in a totally frenzied market. I just can’t get past it. The color unless DRAMATICALLY different in person is just terrible. I wanna like it so bad
 
Even though these unique “pro” colors tend to date the truck, I enjoy how much they burn the lines of the 5th gen into the collective psyche. This is unprecedented with any truck/ SUV in production.

With that said, I’m getting cross-over vibes with this color.

That would look so much better if the bumper wasn’t black. At least it’s not silver fake metal.

Do people ever paint their Off Road and Pro bumpers to match the body? I actually passed on an Off Road that was red because the horrible bumpers clashed so bad. Ended up with a white SR5 that looks correct, to me anyway.

Watched TRD Jon's video. He thinks it could also be a Lime Rush painted 2021 model being used as a demo model to show off the paint color. That would explain the lack of cameras and the old wheels.

damnit. i may buy this ugly thing. someone stop me. i can't find a dealer getting a 22 ORP allocated in lunar rock
 
Yep. This isn’t a 2022. Another dead giveaway is the front sensor which is lowered in the grill on the 2022 to accommodate for the 360 camera. OPs pick is either a photoshop or a wrap.

So I saw this in person today and can confirm it is a wrap. A close look at the corners of the hood revealed that. It's lighter than the actual color. There was an actual Electric Lime Tacoma there that was a bit darker, but the color looks great in person. My pics didn't come out great, but I'll upload them shortly.

Interesting! So I guess the only photo for sure of Lime Rush would be the one at port that hasn’t been transformed into a TRD Pro yet.
