Selling my V8 AWD 4Runner with 178k miles. Bought it a couple months ago and then decided to start up for a house.

4Runner is in immaculate condition with no dents, dings, or scratches and will be detailed with a full tank of gas for whoever decides to purchase. This truck white and has every option the limited came with including the JBL stereo with subwoofer, navigation, and the X-REAS suspension. I recently bought brand new Procomp 7069 17x9 wheels and 265/70/17 Nitto Trail Grapplers. Tires are perfectly balanced and the alignment is perfect. I also have the five original Limited wheels but the tires are bald.

The interior is dirty at the moment but in great condition with no cracks or tears in the leather or any other part of the upholstry. Seat warmers get hot and A/C is ice cold. There is nothing on this truck that does not work.

Cam shafts were replaced around 10-15k miles ago because the dealership damaged one while doing routine maintenance. Timing belt was changed at 145k miles.

Price is $12k firm and I have a payoff through USAA. If you are in the southwest, I am located in Mesa, Arizona and would be willing to deliver the vehicle to most places in the Southwest but we would have to work out the conditions.

Hey man, since you asked heres my look at it. Its a 178k truck for 12k or 11k for a high mileage truck with bald tires. Also since high mileage doesnt mean much if its properly maintained, having the timing belt changed at 145k (55k late technically) then you have to imagine other maintenance was probably stretched out. Now IMO I would say its safe to run the truck up to 115-120k before doing the timing belt but if I had planned on keeping the truck forever and running high miles I would have done it around 100k.

You do have a very clean truck and I like it, but any vehicle is a gamble over 150k on whats going to go out, and when. So people that all of that into consideration when buying a higher mileage truck. We all know you can get an easy 300k out of these trucks when properly maintained so its not a big issue for folks that know what they are buying.

Unfortunately you will have to wait for a while until the right buyer comes along to get the most money, I think 10k with the current wheels would be a descent deal for both parties. I know you just bought the truck a few months ago and maybe your upside down, Im not sure.

I think you have a great truck and it looks nice but it will take a while to sell at that price. I hope you dont take any of this the wrong way, just trying to give you an outside perspective-

I appreciate the perspective. If, however, I have to sell it for less than $11k I may just wait until I have it paid down a little more. Thank you for the insight.

And yes, it is all-time AWD with a 4-LO option and a locking center diff.
