Limited more Fragile?

Are the limited edition 4runners more fragile off-road than the SR5's? It seems like they might be since they are more "luxorious."
Its a 1998, Limited.

Why would they be more fragile? They are the same vehicle underneath with just some nice additions like leather seats, etc. They should perform just as well as any other 4Runner.

i cant speak for others but MY limited came factory with the rear locker making it more capable than the sr5 without the factory locker!

the leather makes mud a quick clean up too my friend!!!

They are all the same just the limiteds get a little fancier goodies plus the multi-mode auto and the digital climate controls. The Limiteds do lose a little of the rugged look tho' and I can do without the body cladding.

My mom has a '99 Limited and the only thing I prefer over mine is the power seats otherwise they're pretty much identical and both could do the same trails after the running boards are removed.
