Limited Siding Removal

Does anyone know if the plastic guard that is on the side of the limited models can be taken off. I am looking at a limited, and will want to take off the running boards, but also dont like the plastic guard on the doors.

I pretty sure its bolted on so , if you remove it you will have holes!

It's got those little plastic clips toyota uses on everything else- so not as severe as bolts, but yes, you will have holes. not only do i prefer the molding, but without the running boards mine have taken a beating of rock rash, which is better than having the metal door panel take the beating...

My avatar is a pic of no running boards with the side trim and flares. there is also a pic in a recent thread in the general discussion forum about stubbs sliders and por-15.

The vehicle that I am looking at is two Tone. The body is pearl white with the fender flares/siding/running boards being silver. How will this look if I take off the running boards?

if you've got a ratchet and the right socket it won't take but 15 minutes to take one side off real quick to see how you like it.
