Anyone have any idea how much the TP wheels weigh? I am thinking about a set of six shooters and am wondering how they compare. The six shooters are 20.5lbs.

low angle front and rear comparo pictures would tell a lot. Would like to see how much the 275s width matches the fender/body width line.

Trail for sure. I actually have a set of the exact same rims (off an FJ) - got 5 on ebay for 5 or $600 can't remember. Haven't put them on yet (just bought a house so new tires are on the back burner for a minute). Can't wait to get those 20" stilts off though.

Another vote for trail wheels. Limited wheels give it more of a street/executive look while the trail wheels with more rubber give it more of a sporty/outback look. Mind you, neither have even a somewhat aggressive tread either.

Sorry for the revive but this post really helped me decide.
Been eyeing FN Wheels BFD 18x9 in black & 285/60/20 BFG's until I found a too good to resist deal on CL for some take off TP's with brand new rubber.
I'm more of a street w/ occasional off the beaten path to the fishing hole, out to the mt. bike trail, up to the ski cabin guy so I love the Limited and liked the 20's look and ride but hated the skinny stilts tires w/ no room to go wider! Was going to order some SpiderTrax to move them out, but didn't want to just make it more noticeable from behind - couldn't find any definitive pics.
Can't say I'm in LOVE w/ the new look. It loses the Limited factor and makes it look more traditional 4Runner - u know, go anywhere, do anything, bowl over any obstacle badass beast! Which, is also great. Definitely lose some handling and responsiveness and more nosedive and squat due to more sidewall squish - even at 40psi. Definite LIKES: Better NVH. Quiet. Comfortable. No worries of potholes, curbs, or small animals. A better stance too - which all we wheel whores can agree is what it's all about! These will have to do until I get that BFD itch again.
If you're thinking of doing it, just do it!

I put 17x8 Method Standards on the wife's Limited.
any issues with rubbing with that tire, wheel, and offset? wanting to put a 17x8.5 on the wife's limited which isn't lifted. Curious how the 17x8 are
