link title not showing up:(

In the past when i copied a hyperlink into a thread or into my sig it did the vanity thing where you simply saw the title of what you were linking too but in my Sig it is not working and I don't know why. Please help. Thanks

by the way. today I posted a link in a thread and it automatically converted to the name of the link so why won't my sig do that? Admins I need help. :keyboard:

There's an option when you post that is defaulted to "on" that says "automatically retrieve titles from posted links". Probably not an option in the sig, though. What you can do instead of just posting the link is something like "[url=www.rockdawgsbuildthread.com]description of link[/url]", which would appear like this:

description of link

It's what I did in my sig.
