have you gotten to drive on Coronado??
if not you should!!
we should get members in each area to drive on the beach and take a pic...
if its legal of course! Let us Know if you are in any of these areas and can accomplish this feat!

No, I've never driven on Coronado Beach, not sure if you can. It's about 3 hrs away from me so I usually go to one of the closer beaches like Huntington or Newport. I was there as a kid, but I remember the island was beautiful. And it's got aircraft carriers and destroyers! Sickness.

maybe even 2 challenges... one, is pics of your 4runner on the highest ranked/nicest beaches
and 2: 4runners on the highest peaks/mts...
sea level and highest elevation! Keep it all legal!

whos in? Me and my Colorado compadres can definitely help the highest elevation categories, but who is gonna help the sea level category??

Do you mean in CA? Like, Corona Del Mar, Newport Beach? Possibly San Clemente?
If so, I am in Newport right now at work, literally a 3 minute drive away from Corona Del Mar... with my 4runner aha.
I wish there was a beach to go out and drive on, I've always wanted to do that. Anyone know of one in Southern California you can drive on?

not just any beach... how many of the top 10 beaches from the list can you drive on?
and I want to find out the top 10 highest trails in the US and see if we can T4R members to get a pic at the tops of them...
but maybe a beaches/mountain thread for just any beach or mountain would be good too...

hahah I was on Southampton today! it was very nice, although soft sand and 45psi (lazyyy) don't mix well...4lo and powered through hahaha
and sh!t we got Main Beach on the list too? That is a reallllly nice beach...
now do you guys understand why I love this island so much and would never leave even for sick colorado wheelin?

Never thought of driving on a beach here in Hawaii. There's only one beach that I can think of on my island where it is legal to drive on. The beach has nice black sands and is down in a valley called Waipio Valley. I was actually just there a few weeks ago, but I didn't drive on the beach itself and I didn't have my camera with me.
I have been to the highest mountain in the state of Hawaii though, if that counts. The mountain is called "Mauna Kea" and it has an elevation of about 13,804 feet. The road going up really isn't for an off-roading enthusiast as it is paved most of the way, with gravel/cinder the rest of the way to the top. The mountain is high though and I have a few pics too. These pictures were taken sometime during December of last year:
