List of common 4runner thread pitches?

I have a nice set of SAE taps, but nothing in metric. Is there a good list of all the common thread sizes for 4runners that i can use as a guide while assembling a set of taps?

There are four primary considerations for spare bolts and nuts: (1) diameter, (2) pitch, (3) class (strength rating), and length (bolts only). Toyota was nice and standardized on only one pitch for each thread diameter, as follows:

6 mm diameter - 1 mm pitch (iso course) - requires 10 mm wrench to fit head / nut
8 mm diameter - 1.25 mm pitch (iso course) - requires 12 mm wrench to fit head / nut
10 mm diameter - 1.25 mm pitch (iso fine) - requires 14 mm wrench to fit head / nut
12 mm diameter - 1.25 mm pitch (iso other) - requires 17 mm wrench to fit head / nut
14 mm diameter - 1.5 mm pitch (iso fine) - requires 19 mm wrench to fit head / nut
16 mm diameter - 1.5 mm pitch (iso fine) - requires 22 mm wrench to fit head / nut

I have all of these and really gave them a work-out when I did my frame swap.

We also have rare M11x 1.25 studs and nuts on the D/S at the T/C. Only place I ever found was Amazon for tap and die. You don't need the tap, as it is just better to replace the nut. I did get a die and was able to save a flange by removing a stud, rethreading and re-installing. I defy anyone to find a M11x1.25 stud anywhere other than a junkyard.

Interesting. Is this on Auto only? You can't even get them at the dealer?

Don't forget the [in]famous M10 x 1.0 Toyota driveline nuts and bolts. Not that it would be worth buying a tap or die in that flavor.

Nope, just the whole flange. Mine is a 5-speed J-shift T/C, but I would think all the T/Cs are like that. Maybe not...

Again, you're better off just buying new ones. You can't really tap those nuts if you wanted to, because they are locknuts and they lose their "lockness".
