I've stumbled across a 94 Runner that I am interested in. I've done some reading here and tried to see if there are any common problems with this year. I've seen several posts about head gasket problems, but nothing really major.
The one I am looking at has 115k, auto tranny, 4x4 and power everything; even a sunroof. The frame has almost no rust but the rear tailgate has some surface rust just under the rear window. The head gasket was just done w/in the last 3k miles. There is a mound of receipts in the glovebox from the original owner so I will have a pretty good idea what has been done.
I am new to Toyota so I have no real clue what to look for. Anything I should really be afraid of with this vehicle? It looks really clean inside.
I would greatly appreciate any pointers that I should consider or look for. I am going to drive it on Sunday I hope. Thanks in advance!!!
