Where did you see this??? That looks like the offramp to the HOV freeway in Santa Ana! Which would explain why you found a 4Runner that color.

BTW, this was in the OC on the I-5. I was headed up from South County when I saw it - looked to me like an XBOX 360 color.

From a distance it looked like a quality paint job albeit a bit misguided on the color.
 
Well Bill42, I am from Santa Ana, grew up in Santa Ana and have spent over 30 years of my life living there. These types of colors on automobiles are not uncommon in the neighborhoods where I grew up. You see these colors on cars at car shows held at local parks in my neighborhood, and you see cars with these colors cruising around on the weekends in places where I hung out when I was a kid. How else would I know by looking at a little piece of freeway on-ramp where the picture was taken. I can't help it if my familiarity offended you Mr. South OC. What point were YOU trying to make when all you have to do is open up a 4Runner brochure to see that this shade of green has never existed on a Toyota 4Runner straight from the factory?
 
yeah, that's the limited edition 2008 "Jelly Bean Green" color. Although it's ugly as hell, it has a 450 h.p. and torque to match! :bash:
 
I think that's the rumored new for '08 Hybrid Green 4runner - probably a pre-production model getting field tested.
 
well, I do like green.. but NOT that green - that's fugly! ..but, hey, whatever makes the owner happy *shrugs*
