local off-roading (L.A.)

Does anyone in the L.A. area know of a cool place to do a little light off-roading? I only have a 2WD, but want to get my truck dirty this weekend. I have looked into San Gabriel OVH and Hungry Valley OVH, but want to know from somebody whose been there or anywhere else for that matter, where would be a good place to go, preferrably less than an hour away (I'm in the Pasadena area).

Hungry Valley is mild enough for a 2wd to enjoy! There are even some trails in Big bear that you can tackle too!

Can't comment on Azusa as I've never been there (since ya gotta pay up)
