Location of JBL amp in 4th gen 4runner

I'm interested in where the factory mounted the JBL amplifier for the premium sound option in 2004. Anyone out there who has this or remembers where it was before it was torn out?

I thought that amp was just for the sub. I mean the one the HU dumps into.

Thank you for making it clear! So that cable from the back of the radio which has some shielded wires in it plus others has got to be 6 or 8 feet! Is it in all 4runners or an add in? Thanks to both of you for your help.

Yes, it goes 6-8 feet and when I put 2007 Solara Navigation in my 2003 4-Runner I had to upgrade the AMP and run more shielded wires back to the AMP for muting and voice instructions out of the left front speaker.
