Locked the Center Diff on accident....

So my girlfriend takes out the 4runner to do some errands. While on her commute my "blonde" gf locks the center diff and drives around town for a bit. She calls me and says the truck runs like crap.

I will deal with her later! On for the more important issue. I drove around and it doesnt seem like anything is wrong. If the hardware was damaged, would it throw a code? If it is damaged, would I notice anything in normal city driving? ANy type of inspection I can do?

shouldn't cause much damage at all. Maybe accelerated tire ware but don't worry about the center differential it'll be fine.

Well she "paid" that night. She knows how I baby my 4runner and did felt very bad. I must tell you fellas, you need lay on the guilt very thick, put on "the departed" and grab a beer. My gf hates those types of movies so she found something "more fun" to do....ok, Ill keep this PG rated!

Cant wait for the next to the gf wants to mess with ole runner...

I solved that one!! I just don't let my wife drive mine.......unless I'm passenger in the car with her!! : )
