Locking roof racks?

Hi!

Does anyone know if some type of locking mechanism can be found for our roof racks? It would really help if you decide you want to go into a restaurant and don't want to worry about stuff being stolen.

I want to lock down a couple of sailboards and not have to worry about someone taking one while I'm sailing or at work.

whoever the manufacturer of your rack is should offer locks to go with that rack.

Or got the generic route and get a big fat cable lock. Route it around and through your stuff and lock with big fat padlock. All you need to do is discourage the thieves.

You can get locking THULE or YAKIMA towers / crossbars / accessory clamps that'll fit the stock racks... Both sites have fitment guides online:
