Sadly, i was in a very similar situation 7-8 years ago when i had my Honda CRV. My brothers' LX470 and Land Rover Discovery were stuck in a similar situation, as was my Honda CRV. Tow trucks would not come near us because they were scared of being stranded. Finally, someone had a tractor who rescued all of us.
