Long drive home from the dealership...

New to Toyota and the Forum. I'm sure ill have some questions down the road. Selling my 1 ton diesel truck and picked up a 2015 TEP with KDSS and TRD Pro wheels. Picking it up right after the New Year. Heading up the Inside Passage and through Canada. Should be a fun, albeit, long trip home...

That is one ambitious drive!

I drove the Alcan many years ago, before it was paved. Actually drove it twice, but the first time was as a 5 year old, no don't remember a lot except lots of ice and snow (it was in March '72, I believe).

Picked up the rig two days ago in Seattle. Love it so far.

Loaded on ferry that night and have been steaming north for the past 36 hours.

Rough night last night and rolled into Ketchikan early this morning. Check the buoy readings and it confirmed why I barely slept. Seas up to 16' stacked super close.

More to come. Getting off the ferry tomorrow and headed through Canada before back into AK. Checked weather and it is supposed to be -40 degrees for portions of the drive. High adventure.
