Long travel installed

rolling blackout

Spent all weekend installing the Totao Chaos (used) kit that I bought about two months ago. I've only taken it for a quick test drive, but so far I am impressed! The ride quality difference is night and day, now I just need to lift the rear...... Still need to get it aligned, and still need fenders, and maybe bigger tires.

I wonder if those T-100 axles are stronger than our runner axles. If so, I wonder if they can handle a 37" tire? I used to wonder about doing the long travel IFS instead of the SAS. But I have seen that the solid axles are a lot stronger and you get more travel. I'm still curious though on what size tire the T-100 axles can handle.

T100s use the same 27 spline ends as ours, they are just a little longer to accommodate for the t-100s wider stance.

The cvs really aren't that much weaker than the stock solid axle birfields... Its just that stronger shafts are a lot cheaper for the solid axle.
