I've always been a nissan guy, having owned 3 hardbodys, 3 frontiers, a 240sx, and a 350z. Just recently I have fallen in love with the 3rd gen 4runners, and set out to find the newest one i could with under 100k on it. Well I finally found it friday. I traded in my crew cab 4x4 Frontier, and so far I couldn't be happier! Picked up an 02 SR5 with 94,500 miles on it, got it for $8250 on the road after taxes. Seems to be in great shape. I've got all the parts on order to do the timing belt, belts, hoses, and water pump, also sometime within the next few months I plan to change all fluids, fuel filter, either a new radiator or the add-on trans cooler, ball joints, and new tires. I figure doing those things should have me running maintenance free for a while, other than oil changes. I've spent quite a bit of time on here reading the stickys, writeups, and faq's, and I just want to thank everyone for the wealth of info here. Here's a pic:
