I am looking to trade my truck. My preference is for a single cab, manual transmission, 4x4, but I’d consider either a prerunner or xtra cab but probably not both! Located in Longview Texas. Appx 16,000 per rules
My truck is a 2004 Double Cab, completely stock except for Fox coilovers up front, rear shocks, upgraded rear axles, and a professional 2 tone paint job about 5 years ago. Texas truck so no rust or corrosion issues! The picture is from last spring I think, just before I moved. I’ll have the truck detailed if you’re interested in it and have it looking like new. I bought a fixer upper house, moved, and started a new job in the last year and haven’t had time to keep it looking this nice!
Maintenance has been kept up, I had the timing belt and water pump replaced with OEM at 100k miles and the belt looked brand new when it got pulled off. Full synthetic oil changes with an oversized wix filter every 3-5k.
This is my third Toyota of about this age and I’ve had bad luck with rear wheel bearings, so I did them on this truck before they went out. Upgraded the rear axles to TrailGear chromoly non-ABS shafts and replaced all the oil seals and bearing with OEM. Unfortunately both sides leak since I had that done and I’ve been too busy to get it fixed, but I check the rear differential fluid level ever other week and top it off as needed.
Everything works on the truck and it has been perfectly reliable.. never had it not start in the morning or leave me stranded. No engine lights, but the ABS light is on due to the upgraded rear axles. Im a manual trans / manual windows guy and I’ve loved this truck for the last 60-70k miles but looking to get back to what I know! Willing to drive for the right truck.
