found someone who will let me borrow her spare tires from her tacoma so I can powdercoat my rims....takes about a week to do. This is the stupid flaking I was talking about.....anyone have this on their sport rims? What are these rims made out of anyway? Polished aluminum? Brushed steel? IDK.....this flaking kills me =(

Looking good.Like the wet okolies also.Been thinking about getting some black wet okolies with gray piping.The rims look like corrosion .Think its made of alluminum and clearcoated.Hopefully its not pitted from the corrosion.Should have powdercoaters take a look at it first.Powder coating should look good .Nice runner.

that happened to my dads 03 sport, and it turned out to be from brake fluid that was leaking from one of the calipers. they look like s@*t now

Thanks bro! I call it the enhanced stock look. Finally at the height it should be at. Tires look sick! I'm glad I chose mtz & not atz. Super bumpy now. Feels like a truck now. Lost that cushy ride. That my friend is the opportunity cost I'm willing to pay. haha.
So far so good. Total cost $1700. Kinda brutal but I took one for the team. Just need spidertrax now.
