Look what I got in the mail today!

Im pretty stinkin sure it was the last one in the USA. Started off just looking for the filter which were listed for sale on a LOT of sites via Google, but no one ACTUALLY had them for sale. So I started calling everyone that had it listed, and low and behold California Car Cover had it listed on Amazon, and the guy pulled it for me, and waited for me to call back on payday! Ended up with the whole intake including the filter for 99.99.

Thats awesome!! why were you specifically looking for those? are they better than your K&N and other popular brands??

Mostly because I read somewhere that gauze filters lose material every time you clean them and foam filters don't...and I was a dirtbiker in a previous life where foam filters are king....I have an ingrained fondness of them, and am comfortable with the cleaning and recharging process. PLUS you don't have to clean it nearly as often, which fits my lazy personality perfectly :tongue:

theres a video somewhere, Im sure Youtube, side by side, TrueFlow is MUCH better, as Im still running stock lmao I had that same set up on the 99

I want kidding when I said I though it might be the last one in the USA. They went out of business and have pretty much sold out. If you get to Googling, call first - don't just order because I got sucked into a ring of auto part sites that listed them but didn't have them - think they all use the same parts search engine.
