well i wrecked my 4 runner and the old bull bar was damaged.. no pics of wreck but pic of old bar below...

I still don't get brush guards/bull bars. I'd say return it and get a TJM or ARB.

That should look pretty nice. In general I agree with p nut, why add something like that when a TJM or ARB will offer much more protection. I also understand that not everyone likes the look of the TJM style bumper.
I had a TJM on my 00, at a light some guy in a full size Chevy truck decided not to yeild to me as his lane was ending so he tried to get in front of me and didn't quite make it. As he cut in he clipped the TJM, my whole truck moved quite a bit, but looking at the bumper, other than some white paint you would never know it had been hit.

If my truck where an off road vehicle I would go with something like that but it is a 2wd pavement pounder that I haul clients around so I have to go for the clean subtle look.

I got it off of ebay.. a company called Hunter makes it..and sells them on there. they cost $229 plus tax... search bull bar toyota on ebay... if they dont have them google the company and you can order directly through them.. I like it.. I had the old model on there and wrecked the truck so I just put this one on there.. It bolts right up no mods needed.

go with an ARB bull bar bumper. it will save u money in a head on crash and it looks bada$$ too!! mine saved my car from being totalled when i rear ended a lady at 40 mph, so of course i got a new one!!!!

I don't think he's an off roader and a TJM or ARB is a bit much (moneywise too) for a street truck and I think he's using the bull bar to mount lights.

Not too mention he already has the new bar.

as for the hood Ron, I had a lil fender bender and my hood was damaged so I had the sport one put on .. it cost me an extra $65 to have it done... well worth it. I always got jealous when I saw people with one. now im happy
