Honestly there is no need for 55W. 55W color washes the Kelvin scale anyways. 4300K is the whitest brightest you can get. 5000-6000 is the perfect color. Has alot more blueish/purplish tint people are looking for. The bluer you go the less actual light output is available. 4300K has around 3200 lumens with a 6K kit dropping that around 300-500 depending on the supplier and how tight the tolerances are for their bulbs. Besides that the rods (or cones...forget which) in our eyes dont respond well in dark with blue. I wont get into alot that detail though.
Oh and BTW - DDM has HORRIBLE customer service and their bulbs are worthless. Trust me Ive dealt with this company before and they suck. Im sure people have had good kits from them but wait because it will happen. I just had a ballast go out from them and they sent me wrong damn one after 2 weeks of waiting. They are worthless IMO. I have been using VVME lately with good luck so far. If you look on ebay all the bulbs are the same just about. Thats what I do. I order ballast from VVME and get bulbs from ebay as they see to have less problems for some reason. Cheap too....like $16/pair.

Drove around last night, they don't appear to be obnoxious due to the pattern. I'm going to give them a couple weeks of testing before deeming them a permanent installation.
They were definitely obnoxious when installed on the Ody, but don't appear to be as bad on the T4R.
