Looking 4 CO Hospitality

co4lo & all ye CO wheelers, I'm rolling and want to hit up as many trails, loops, etc that I can get out to. I now have a free week during my visit July 27-31.

Unfortunately, I got voted out for the late July CO 4Runner meet but still want to hit up all those awesome trails that Ric, sn0wrunner, and others post all the time. Hopefully you guys will be free on one or MULTIPLE days?!

Most of us hang out over on Yota Tech also, so we can set something up specific if you like.

There may be a 4Runner event right around then even.

Where will you be staying or any ideas what you would like to see?

Ron thanks for the response, I was hoping to get out to Gunnison or anywhere up in the 'Divide" area. I know sn0wrunner is always posting some sweet wheeling trip pics up here and I'd love to hit up some of those or anywhere that anyone here would like to do, do again, or try for new.

I will be up in Alice for a few days at some glacier lakes fishing, and will be staying in the Aurora/Cherry Creek area which I think is pretty central to most areas?

I would say my skill level is at a level 7; however bypasses are nice!

Nothing formal required - I just don't want to head into the unknown by myself you know.

Well this may just help me decide on when to take my vacation time. I need to go see my friends in Montrose, CO. I haven't been there since 2005. I took my 97 4Runner wheeling near Ridgeway, Uray, Telluride, and a wee bit near the Black Canyon of the Gunnison areas. Montrose is fairly central to that area Pritch, and I lived there for over a year and a half.
Anyway, if these dates are set, we should set something up and I'll put in my vacation request form ASAP!
I've got two weeks saved up, and wanted to burn all 14 days out there with my friends. Might as well add my CO & CA T4R friends to that list too!
I deeply miss these views of the Rockies.

Ok all. I put in my request for time off, July 16th to the 25th. I more than likely won't know for another week if my request has been approved. Yeah basically almost to the last min.! My friends in Montrose are very excited to see me. And then I'll just need to know when you guys are going wheeling and where to meet up and I'll make the drive from Montrose over the mtn to either Denver or Colorado Springs. Where ever it is you guys decided to go. Request: I have NO rock protection and would like to request where ever you are thinking about going, pls. be mindful that I have no sliders or skid plates. Thanks!! If I can go, I'll make sure Pritch has my cell phone number, as I doubt I'll be getting online out there. If one of our Colorado hosts would like it too, hit me up with a PM. sn0wrunner sounds good, Ruffian & I will be headed out on Thursday morning. It sounds like CSL has lost his job and the big 'RUN' in August is no longer happening - perhaps we can get something going for the last week in July in its place?
