Well here is the basic info: i will stop by and take some pic in a few days... i want to know the goood and bad about this car! just ask some questions and i will anwser or call the dude up again and anwser.... should i get it???

22RE 4-cylinder, fuel injected, 5-speed. 121,450 miles. Silver ext, Black removable top (not pictured), grey interior. Body in very good condition, no major rust (small area on tailgate, small area below fuel door) frame and undercarriage have typical midwest surface rust, interior very good, cold AC, cruise control. 4x4 works great, NEW head, valves, and lifters, NEW timing chain, NEW alternator, NEW starter, New radiator. Needs new heater core($100). BFG AT's (old), Alpine stereo and sub, power windows, locks, mirrors, inclinometer. Stock wheels (not pictured) are back on truck. This 4Runner is in MUCH better shape than any you'll find elsewhere and extremely rare in this condition. Perfect for a daily driver or off road mule. NEVER off-roaded. yeah ur right i am looking at this and i just want everything and all info about these cars, i also thought it was alot, it has 5 owners, 2 were dealers,

I bought the same description 6 months ago for $800, just with 209k miles....

$1,500, maybe 2k, but not 4.

ok, i talked to the owner and he game me some more details:
1. back trunk latch dont work
2. window (front) leaks during rain or heavy wash (back roof dosnt)
3. still a bit of a knock in engine, might still need to be broen in since rebuild (50 miles ago)
4. smalll bubble rust on rear wheel wells, gas tank outer cap, undercarage rust (says only on outer, not cracked threw frame or anything)

ill take a closer look at it when its not so damn cold, suposed to snow tomorrow. up and ill be sure to take alot of detailed pic tomorrow if its not to bad


tell me what a price might be? 2,500-3,000? or still high

if the motor is knocking id look elsewhere my friend. 4runners are great, but start with a decent one or you wont like it.

take your time looking around, it took me 3 months to find my 87 for a great price with a good running engine and tranny.

i have been looking all summer for a car, i am looking for a project car this summar as i am a senior now and no school nextyear.

I went to Texas from Ontario Canada to get mine. Don't let a little distance scare you from a great truck. Paid less than that, no rust and a strong runner too... till I hydrolocked it, but that is a whole different story.:happens:

yeah distence dosnt really scare me, i have look for 87 supras from cali to flordia, but i found one in texas that i realy like, for like 2,500 might get it, or a truck

wel the the things i am looking for in the supras are a 5 speed and a turbo,would like a t top

but this supra both, thats why, mainly a drifter car, or something to cruse in, it gets batter gas milage than my runner. and i want it as a tinker car, something to fix (body work)
