I'm looking at a 2001 Tacoma PreRunner with TRD package with my son today (he's 18). It has about 64K on it, and has a internet price of about $13,500. It's at a Honda stealership. It's a V6.
Am planning on a test drive, giving the dealer the "I'm serious" schpiel, then seeing if I can take it to my mechanic for a once over....
Can anyone comment on things to look for on an '01? Are there any particular issues to be aware of? Price? It actually seems reasonable and is in line with NADA and Edmunds....
