Looking at a 05 SR5 V8

Found a 2005 SR5 V8 w/ Leather with 48K miles on it. The dealer has it listed at 18,500 as a "snow special". The Carfax shows that the truck is clean with 2 previous owners. Just wondering with a low price like this if there is something I should be on the lokout for?

I wonder if snow special means salt special. Check underneath for rust..

I gave $14,500 for my 05' 4x4 Sport. It had higher miles at 108k. If they come off a couple thousand might not be a bad deal w/ low miles like that.

Assuming that it's a 4wd model and it's in good overall condition, I'd say that is a pretty good price. In my area, that vehicle would probably sell for around $21,000.

That doesnt sound like a great price to me.

I paid $17,000 2 years ago at a dealership for my 1 owner 2005 SR5 V8 with leather with 50,000 miles on it. (I talked them down from $19,999)

My advice is shop dealerships online online via cars.com, carsoup.com and autotrader and then negotiate via email. Anyone that wont negotiate via email ... move on to the next one. Thats how I've bought my last 3 vehicles.

That is a pretty good price (assuming good condition).
My '05 V8 SR5 with no leather was 20k.
I might have paid too much but it was what I wanted.
