Looking at a car

I am looking at getting this car and trading in the one i currently own.

From this listing do you notice anything wrong with it or something that I should be aware of. I cant figure out why it would be listed as soo cheap.

Can't tell from the pics. That is one great deal if the price is correct and everything checks out. I thought it'd be a salvage title, but the ad says clear. Still would run a carfax on it.

Go down there and check it out.

The add doesnt state what milage it has. For that price, a given the apparent wear and tear on the steering wheel, it will probably have close to 150,000 miles on it. Call and ask about the miles.
Whoops, it does state miles, 148k, I just didnt look hard enough! My guess was pretty close...

seems too good to be true....

The price seems way too low for the southwest. That would be a (rough guesstimate) retail $12-14K truck here in Denver metro area, and the miles are up there at 148K.

It's my guess that the 4 wheel drive system is non-functional for that kind of money-if it all checks out then that is a steal of a vehicle.

yeah im going to call them today and ask if there are any problems with it even though i know what they will tell me. Of course a dealership will say its in great working condition and all that.

well the carfax report checks out. Clean title. I can see that it was serviced regularly by the owner every 4k miles or so. There were however two accidents on the car and it says that it was fixed and inspected.

I tried calling the place where its at and nobody answered. maybe i will try again soon.

One thing that scares me is the miles. I was thinking it would be a good upgrade from my 99 limited 2WD to the 01 with 4WD. My 99 has 90k miles on it though compared to this 148k
