Looking at a new 4Runner - Need Assistance

Hey Everyone-

So I have a bit of a unique situation. I have a 2018 Toyota Tundra Limited with 1300 miles on it and it is a Lemon. The State of Washington ruled in my favor that the truck qualifies for replacement under the Lemon Law after 97 days at the dealer.

So that leaves me to my next decision. I am looking at another Toyota and am leaning towards a White Limited Nightshade. I love the ride and the look is great but want to make sure I am making the best decision. My main question, which I am sure you all have heard a million times, is which model is the best value for the money. I like the Limited because of the AWD aspect and the Leather but how does it compare to the Off Road Premium or the SR5? I would love everyone's opinions on why they bought the model they did and if they have any regrets.

Thanks in Advance-

TR

Wants , needs, and most importantly expectations? Everybody has a different list so their opinions are all going to vary and there is no correct answers because of this. Without knowing your list, it will be hard to answer. There is also what people actually think they want and need and find that they were wrong and actually wish they went a different route.

^^^ Exactly correct.

Are you ever going to use crawl control? Ever even going to go off road? Want/Need a third row? Do you like the look of the Limited body work?

Personally, each trim level is molded for an explicitly different buyer; of course, any trim level can do anything you "want" it to, but it's all about how well matched it is to you.

If you are going to do any mods - why get a limited, the SR5 is probably the best price point and they all have the same engine and tranny

I should have provided more detail, sorry about that.

This will be my all around car and for family trips. I do a ton of golfing and plan on doing some camping. As far as mods, I will tinker around with it for sure. Most likely air intake, LED's and maybe exhaust.

Not sure about the Limited. On the TRD Offroad the sunroof is optional. No sunroof means 2"/3" extra head room. Skipping the 3rd row also means more rear cargo area. Highly recommend test driving a TRD Offroad with optional KDSS. Test drive costs nothing. I like the tight feeling of the KDSS. I have no desire to lift my 4runner. If a lift is in the future skip the KDSS. I also wanted a rear locker for just in case.

Also recommend a one week subscription to Carista after you have owned the 4runner at least a few weeks. Make additional changes to the computer. I turned off the Eco meter in the middle of the dash among other things.

I have bought genuine Toyota accessories on Amazon for way cheaper than the dealer.
