Looking at a Used 5th Gen - Rust Opinions Needed!

I am about to pull the trigger on a 2014 5th gen Limited 4WD but have some concerns with the undercarriage.

I haven't yet seen the 4ruuner in person - I am about an hour away from the dealer.

I'm in southeast Texas but the car spent most/all of its life in North Dakota. My concern is with rust.

The dealer is working with me and providing great information and photos. I would love to get some opinions on the rust.

Thats not that bad, wire brush it and slap some POR-15 on there and you'll be set.

That doesn't look bad at all. Some fluid film or rust paint will make that all nice and black again. Except for the exhaust.

That looks pretty good. Hopefully the door for the oil change plug is off because they're changing the oil, otherwise I'd ask them to replace it, if possible.

I have a feeling they don't have it and its how it came upon arrival.

Searching for the part number right now! Hopefully, I can find it.

As long as we're talking about missing parts - you might want to ask if there is anything else missing such as: keys or key fobs (they are expensive to replace and program) A full set of user manuals, jack and tire tools including lug nut key if necessary, trailer hitch wiring harness plug ext (goes from bumper plug to trailer harness plug. Do you get a spare tire? Lots of things to consider on a vehicle you can't see in person.
