looking at getting 5th gen (VA)

i have been looking on the forum for over a year now and have gotten to the point where i am looking for a 4runner. at the age of twenty i was set on getting a 4th gen because of cost. after a lot of talking im getting a new 5th gen. basically i am posting here to get more info on pricing of a new 4runner. i am looking at getting the sr5 in red or gray and the only main options i want are the roof rack with cross bars, a cargo net, floor mats, and mud flaps. based on making a 4runner online im looking at a price of 36,424. i have been reading about what other people have paid for a new 4runner and i have seen that you could get about 4,500 off of the sticker. so with that being said anyone have any advise on getting the best deal on a 4runner?

Buy "Used"

You should look into buying a slightly used 2012/2011. I just got my ride a few months ago from Shelor in Blacksburg, VA. Had a little over 8K miles on it and was flawless....basic SR5 package that you will find plenty of around. Got it for just over $31k. Just shop around and find one that doesn't smell funny and you are good to go. The lot I bought mine from had 4-5 used 2010 and 2011 4runners...with 8k to 20+k miles.

I just moved to Roanoke from Richmond...Roanoke is a better place for my 2 year old to grow up, but I miss the RIC.

went looking at 4runners today and i think i found one. went to mcgeorge toyota and found one with all the options i want. going to go back soon to work on a price. also went over to mechanicsville toyota but didn't find what i wanted. they did give me a price of 33,500 so i will work on that and try to get as close to 32k the options i need/want(mudflaps,rack rails, hood deflector)
