Looking for 23829-75130 fuel vapor hose, any leads?

Hey all,

I have an EVAP hose on my charcoal canister on my 98 that's cracking. Toyota has discontinued the part so there's no direct replacement. Tried some int'l sites like PartsSouq and other to no avail.

Anyone know where to get 23829-75130 FUEL VAPOR FEED, HOSE? This is the one: 1998 Toyota 4Runner SR5-V6 3.4L V6 AT Hose, fuel vapor feed - 2382975130 | Roseville Toyota, Roseville CA.

It's got two 180 degree bends so standard hosing won't work since it will get pinched.

I ended up using silicone hose to replace all my vacuum lines and on that one I just made the loops a bit bigger so that they wouldn’t pinch. I can snap a pic if you want. Passed smog no problem..

Any pictures of your hoses u used? Are the thickness the same as the originals?

Seems to be the US supply is NLA.

Canada's Toyota Parts Direct has it listed and able to load pn in cart. However I have a feeling, the inquire will also come back as NLA.

That hose with 2 deep curves is no longer available. Which surprises me some as it's an emmision hose. Granted, several vacuum hoses are no longer available as well..

I remember reading that a few members last year or was it this year, took upon themselves and ordered what ever rubber vacuum hoses on the engine that was available. Even back then all those hoses wasn't cheap.

I wish I did that but life got in the way.

This is one of three vacuum hoses that are NLA for our trucks. The S shape of this particular hose make it difficult to find a good replacement. I wish I could find a manufacturer who'd be willing to make preformed hoses.

I am pretty sure you can buy bulk vacuum line hose material from Toyota in rolls. I think I heard this from car care nut . But.. I could be wrong.

If so, I am sure we can learn or find the process on how they form those vacuum hoses bends. At least I hope we can.

It's that S-shaped hose in the upper right. I have no idea what's involved in preforming a hose, but I suspect it's done during the manufacturing process, not afterwards? Maybe I'm wrong, I'd love to find a way to preform bulk hoses.

Yes . I sold the Op an S hose that was usable... These have been gone for many years now..
