Looking for 3d printing help for console idea

Hey guys.

I have seen some 3d printed stuff on here so I was wondering if I could get some feedback and input on this idea. I was thining if you has something that fit int he cupholders and replaces that little door below the AC controls, you could give room enough for a switch panel, additional GPS, CB, Ham radio etc. Please forgive my very rough mock up that I did in snipping tool. If anyone has any input or wants to add to this, let me know. Maybe a compination of a 3d print with some ABS plastic, not sure yet but you could have enough room to mount a panel like this http://amzn.to/2yiJKjL.

But what about the drinks?!?

You can get panels built that aren't too bad on price. If you really want to make a wedge thing to fill the cup holder area, there are free drawing/cad software that you could use.

Agreed: beverages > buttons For me at least.

You can put switches just about anywhere, and a CB/Ham can be mounted in the center console or on the side of the center console by the knee area.
