Hey guys, Ive been wanting a 4runner since I was able to drive, 16 years ago. Now that I can somewhat afford one, I'm making my family very happy by selling my 2011 Triumph Thruxton 900 and getting into something safer. The complete opposite of what I have been riding for three years. I'm not too enthusiastic about riding a motorcycle through another winter, even though I just moved to Long Beach from the Bay Area, it's still pretty cold and always dangerous. I plan on getting a dog and going on camping, backpacking, off-roading trips, etc. I don't care about the low gas mileage (for now) because I've been riding a bike that gets 45 mpg for a while, saved a lot. And before that, I rode a bicycle everywhere and rode the train. The last truck i had was a 97 Chevy S-10 2wd that I lifted 6.5" and it was a huge mistake, what a terrible truck to lift, that 4.3L had some guts though.
I'm looking for a 3rd Gen 4Runner with under 150,000 miles on it, 4x4 (or else, whats the point), I'm open to either manual or automatic, lifted or not, and simply well maintained. My bike is worth $6k right now,(if i felt like selling it) so I would get a loan from my bank for the rest, good as cash for you.
